Entering the 2024 Football Season, QB Diego Pavia transferred to Vanderbilt University as a former Junior College (JUCO) player with 1 year of eligilbilty.
Diego led The Commodores to their 1st victory over Alabama in 40 years.
In November, Pavia filed a lawsuit challenging the NCAA’s eligibility rules surrounding JUCO transfers on antitrust grounds.
Tuesday a U.S. District Court issued a preliminary injunction allowing Pavia to play college football next season.
This ruling, despite being preliminary and specific to Pavia, has wide reaching implications for high school and college football.
lol. The times, they are a changing!
